Established in 2024, the HLS Writing Center offers one-to-one consulting sessions to all upper-level J.D. students. The Writing Center is best used for argumentative and analytical writing for credit-bearing courses, seminars, workshops, and writing groups as well as independent writing projects. Currently, writing done within clinics as part of legal work is not eligible for consultation; instead, we encourage students working on such writing to leverage the existing expertise within their clinical context for best advice and counsel.
